    Come Bond In Japan

    The Come Bond in Japan event, which promised Bond fans a 10-day tour of James Bond’s Japan hosted by Raymond Benson and Ian Fleming Foundation Vice President Douglas Redenius, has been cancelled. Originally scheduled for September 2004, the event organizers are now hoping to hold this event in Spring 2005.

    This may come as good news to some Bond fans who now have time to save up for what promises to be THE Bond event of next year.

    CBn will keep you posted when new details are released.

  2. Spike TV's July James Bond Marathon

    In July, Spike TV (USA) will telecast back-to-back James Bond films each Wednesday evening and an afternoon Bond movie every Saturday. The classics will be telecast, including the Spike TV premiere of Licence to Kill. Additionally, the network celebrates Independence Day with a 12-hour all Roger Moore Bond movie marathon on July 5th.


    All show times are Eastern and Pacific Time and all showing are rated TV-PG. The schedule is as follows:

    An Afternoon With Richard Kiel, James Bond’s Jaws from The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, will be making a rare visit to the UK to launch his new autobiography.   4. Bond with "Dr. No" on July 4th

    The beautiful Tampa Theatre (listed in the National Register of Historic Places) will be showing a restored archival print of James Bond: Dr. No on the Big screen Sunday, July 4 at 3:00 PM. The restored Dr. No archival print will be played through their state-of-the-art sound and projection system. There may be a chance to get involved with their costume parade as well.

    Matt Sherman, the man behind the popular BCWs (Bond Collector Weekend), is organizing a special event around the screening. So prepare yourself to join 007 for an Independence Day James Bond Weekend in Tampa, Florida. This weekend would include…

    • Tickets for the Dr. No movie screening
    • A group spot to watch July 4th fireworks (if you wish stay late Sunday)

  6. Rare Big Screen Showing of THUNDERBALL This Weekend in New York

    James Bond fans in the New York City area will have a rare opportunity to enjoy a big screen showing of a 35mm MGM archival print of THUNDERBALL this weekend at the beautifully restored Lafayette Theater in Suffern, New York. The theater is known for hosting superb presentations of classic and cult films. The screening takes place at 11:30am on Saturday, 12 June.

    Calling all Bond fans! We are now just weeks away from the 7th annual Bond Collectors Weekend which this year will be held in Miami and Key West, FL. Organizer Matt Sherman has confirmed there are still a few open spots available.     Bond Collectors’ Weekend 007 Miami
    Friday – Sunday, June 4-6, 2004

    This is the best tour of them all, lasting three days, with of course most of the 007 locales on Saturday and Sunday morning,” says Matt Sherman, Bond Weekend 7 organizer. “We are lucky to be working closely with researchers and those who were in Key West during filming. We are hitting twice as many locations as we saw in New Orleans, San Francisco or Las Vegas and have close to 50 points of interest documented to date with some surprises.

    BCW Productions is organizing their seventh Bond Collectors’ Weekend. The BCWs are variety events attended by 007 Fans from around the world. The events are put together for Bond fans to visit James Bond locations, check out movie vehicles, and meet celebrities in an intimate setting (no Celebes have been confirmed yet for BCW7, but stay tune for further information).

    Weekend 007 features an overnight in Key West and theme tours of 40 book and film points of interest from Goldfinger, Thunderball, Licence To Kill, Nobody Lives Forever, and The Man From Barbarossa.

    The seventh annual Bond Collectors’ Weekend is set for Miami, Florida. Friday through Sunday, June 4-6. Attendance is limited to 50 fans… so sign up quick! Your BCW package will include:
