Single To Go To Radio Immediately Following Leak

Fan site, Madonnarama.com has revealed that the Die Another Day single has been given the go-ahead for Radio release do to the recent leak on the radio in the US.

Got the ‘Die Another Day’ MP3? Well, if not, you can expect to hear it on the radio immediately following the unauthorised leak yesterday.

Radio stations worldwide have now been given the goahead to play the single – ahead of the planned radio date of 7 October – following the leak on Z100 Radio in the US. There is even talk of bringing the single release date forward, though – as far as we know, the video is still to premiere at the same time.

Trailer To Play Before Red Dragon

The official James Bond site has confirmed in a news update that the full Die Another Day trailer will be seen in US cinemas before screenings of ‘Red Dragon’.

Despite the announcement it has been confirmed that it is up to the cinemas discression to place the trailer before Red Dragon, so screenings should be considered limited. Any Bond fans attending the movie solely to see the full trailer are advised to ring their local cinema first.

The full international trailer was recently given a 12A rating by the BBFC and has been confirmed as 2 minutes and 15 seconds in length.

Amazon List Soundtrack For Sale

Online retail giant Amazon has just added the Die Another Day soundtrack to their items available for pre-order.

Retailing at $19.98 the soundtrack has as yet to receive an Amazon discount, however, Amazon have confirmed a November 12 release date and that the soundtrack will apparently be released under a Waner Brothers music label.

HGTV To Go Inside Bond Girls Houses

HGTV are to show a James Bond special later this year which shall go inside the hoses of four former Bond girls.

Jane Seymour will host the special which will also feature Luciana Paluzzi who played Fiona Volpe in Thunderball, Lynn-Holly Johnson who played Bibi Dahl in For Your Eyes Only and Tanya Roberts who palyed Stacey Sutton in A View To A Kill.

The special, entitled “Zip Code 007”, will premier on November 17.

Details On Full DAD Trailer

The British Board of Film Classification have just released a classification for the full Die Another Day Trailer.

The full trailer will be rated 12A, indicating that Die Another Day will receive the same rating. The trailer comes in at 2 minutes and 15 seconds and only reveals that the work was rated 12A without cuts having to be made.

The trailer submitted to the BBFC was submitted by 20th Century Fox indicating that it’s the international trailer. As with the second teaser trailer, it’s possible that the international trailer and the US trailer may have some differences.

The full trailer is expect to premier in cinemas, and online, sometime in October.

Goldfinger Part Of Forbes Fictional Fifteen

He’s the man with the Midas Touch and he’s been ranked as one of America’s Richest in The Forbes Fictional Fifteen. He is none other than the cinematic incarnation of Auric Goldfinger.

With a networth of US$1.2 billion Auric Goldfinger finds himself in the number 10 place. While he fends off competition from the likes of C. Montgomery Burns and Cruella De Vil it seems Goldfinger will never be able to take the top spot. That position is held by Santa Clause who, according to Forbes, has a networth of infinite wealth. Also in competition to Goldfinger are the likes of Bruce Wayne, Willie Wonka and Scrooge McDuck.

According to Forbes Goldfinger is aged 51 and the source of his wealth is Gold and Commodities Training. Their biography of Goldfinger reads;

Built fortune trading commodities with special talent for dealing in gold bullion. “Gold is in my name, and it’s my passion. I love it more ways than I can count.” Recently expanded into low-tech U.S. investments, buying and renovating Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises and aging Miami Beach hotels. Madonna Confirms Role

In an interview with Genre magazine Madonna has spoken of her two roles in Die Another Day; that is, of the title song and of her cameo role.

To begin with, Madonna has confirmed earlier reports that her role in Die Another Day would be that of James Bond’s fencing instructor. Obviously, the role will see her on screen opposite Pierce Brosnan. There is still no word on how long Madonna will be seen on screen, thought it was recently revealed that her characters name is Verity.

Of the theme song for Die Another Day Madonna has told Genre, “The song I wrote for the Bond film is about destroying your ego, and it’s juxtaposing the metaphor of, you know, the fight against good and bad, and it’s set inside the whole universe of Bond. Like all Bond films, somebody’s chasing him or he’s chasing somebody and it’s always a fight against good and evil. I wanted to take it to another level. It’s kind of a metaphor.. I’m fighting myself.”

MTV To Show Special Bond Programmes

Orange Today have reported that MTV will air two special James Bond programmes in November this year.

Bond fans can look forward to a ‘diary entry’ entitled A Day In The Life of 007 which will feature contributions from Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and from Die Another Day’s director Lee Tamahori. The program will air on MTV UK on November 1.

It seems that the US Market will receive a different special with MTV showing a special program on the film on it’s US release date, November 22nd. The program will feature interviews with Lee Tamahori, Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry and Judi Dench.

Hopefully, MTV Channels world-wide will show both programs, giving Bond fans the opportunity to watch both documentries.

Another special promised, with no release date yet scheduled in, is a behind the scenes look at the filming of Madonna’s Die Another Day video clip.
