  1. 'James Bond: The Authorised Biography Of 007' Coming In October '07

    By Devin Zydel on 2006-12-31
    U.K. First Edition (1973)

    First UK paperback edition

Back in summer 2006, CBn alerted James Bond fans to an upcoming reprint of James Bond: The Authorised Biography Of 007, by John Pearson. According to its amazon.co.uk release date, the book was set to ship in October 2006, but CBn now reports that fans are going to have to wait a little while longer…

Delayed a full year, James Bond: The Authorised Biography Of 007 is set to ship on 4 October 2007 and can be pre-ordered from amazon.co.uk for a discounted price of £12.91.

The novel is a “true” biography (of sorts) of agent James Bond, covering the events of his life from his childhood up to the many adventures described in Ian Fleming’s 007 adventures. It was last printed in 1986 (by Grafton in the UK and Grove Press in the US), making it one of the most difficult titles to come by. This new edition will be published by Century. Bond fans should jump on this opportunity and pre-order soon.
