  2. Details Of Madonna's Song Revealed, Including Title

    By daniel on 2002-05-23

Some details have come together today in regards to the theme song of Die Another Day, to be performed by Madonna. To begin with, The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the title for the song will not be Die Another Day but Can't You See My Mind.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that French composer-arranger, Michel Colombier will arrange the song.

As a Madonna fan 'Robster006' has also heard some details on the song. And he tells us in the Die Another Day Forums that Madonna has been "working in the studio on a jazz influenced song with strings and all". The song will reportedly be reminiscent of the classic song I've Got You Under My Skin which was made famous by the other Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra.

If you'd like to discuss the news (I'm particularily keen to hear peoples opinion on the title, and the fact that it's not the same title as the movie) please do so in this thread of the Die Another Day Forums. See you there!

Finally a big thanks to Rich and 'Robster006' for sending in the news!

  3. Spy Report: Details On The Films Score By David Arnold

    By daniel on 2002-05-22

'Anonymous1' has just checked in with some exclusive details on the status of David Arnold's score for Die Another Day.

To begin with, to aid David Arnold's scoring of Die Another Day he has received a rough copy of the film. Yes, you're all thinking lucky guy. However, the copy he received a few weeks ago is missing parts of the film. Of course, it does allow Arnold to score the music directly to the film.

Moreover, Arnold will hit the recording studios in June to record the score for Die Another Day. The recording will be conducted in the UK in a location I can't disclose.

If you'd like to discuss it you can do so in this thread of the Die Another Day Forum.

Finally, a big thanks to 'Anonymous1' for sending that news in. Hopefully, we'll be able to keep you up to date with the status of the score over the coming months.

    By daniel on 2002-05-21

CommanderBond.Net has been following the teaser trailer with a lot interest recently and as a part of that we've been trying to help people find it on the big screen. Thankfully, quite a few people have written in with details on where they've seen it.

    Here are some more details;

My Co-Editor at CommanderBond.Net, Dave Winter, saw the trailer at his local theatre in front of a showing of Star Wars Attack of the Clones. His local theatre is,

    Ster Century
    Romford
    Essex
    UNITED KINGDOM

Michel has written in to let us know that he has seen the trailer in front of Star Wars in Belgium. Interestingly, he's told us that the trailer was in French. Hence, a dubbed version of the online version.

'MoonThunder' has let us know that he's seen Attack Of The Clones three times at three different theatres and all three times the trailer for Die Another Day was shown. He saw Attack Of The Clones in Ohio.

Finally, [dark] has let us know that his friend has seen the trailer in Queensland, Australia! If you head in to see Star Wars at the cinema at Pacific Fair (which is on the Gold Coast) you'll get to see the Die Another Day teaser trailer. Interestingly, [dark]'s friend was pretty certain he saw the US teaser trailer for Die Another day as opposed to the International teaser trailer.

Thanks to Dave, Michel, 'MoonThunder' and [dark] for taking the time of writing in and letting us know about where the trailer is showing!
