Pinewood Given The 'OK' To Rebuild 007 Stage
It was previously announced on the CBn main page that Pinewood Studios was planning to rebuild the famous 007 Stage after it burned down in July of this year.
Yahoo News now reports that Pinewood has been given the ‘OK’ to rebuild the stage. Construction work has already begun and is expected to be completed in early 2007.
The 007 Stage will be same size as it previously was, but ‘modern building techniques and improved internal design have increased the usable area inside the stage from 45,424 square feet to 57,000 square feet.’
While an investigation was reportedly launched as to the cause of the mysterious fire, ‘unknown’ seems to still be the current answer.
