While shopping in the city today I popped into one of the few movie related stores that Melbourne (and I'm guessing Australia) actually offers. To my surprise not only has their James Bond stock increased, but they're offering Gary Giblin's "James Bond's London" as well.
"James Bond's London" is retailing for around the $50 mark, which is a very small price different from the books actual retail value. It retails on SpyGuise for US$20, which is AU$40. If you include postage costs to that you can see you're getting a good deal from the store.
Also available of interest to some are quite a few copies a special edition of the OO7 Magazine. The particular edition in concern is The Art of James Bond – Issue 1 and is described by the official site as;
A 'OO7' Magazine special limited edition publication – The Art of James Bond Issue 1. On the eve of the 40th Anniversary of the James Bond movie series, 'OO7' Magazine presents a 48 page, full colour portfolio of rare James Bond movie posters from around the world. Featuring whole page A4 poster reproductions in full colour suitable for framing.
So where is this terrific store you might ask? Well it's called Minotaur and is located at 121 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. They can be contacted on (03) 9670 5414. You can also view their website at http://www.minotaur.com.au/ however, I have to warn you it's been in development hell for several years now and there's nothing there.
