  1. Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra Presents 'Bond, James Bond'

    By Devin Zydel on 2009-02-08

The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will be celebrating James Bond in style this upcoming May with a performance featuring the some of the most popular themes featured throughout the 007 series.

‘Goldfinger’, ‘Nobody Does it Better’, ‘Live and Let Die’, and the ubiquitous ‘James Bond Theme.’ The signature tunes of Bond films are nearly as famous as the jet-setting super spy. Prepare for an evening that’s licenced to thrill when the debonair 007 is brought to life through the performance of classic pieces of cinematic music with UK superstar soprano Mary Carewe.

Conducted by Carl Davis, the ‘Bond, James Bond’ concert is scheduled to take place on Friday, 29 May and Saturday, 30 May at 8:00pm (both nights).

The venue is the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts, located at 300 W. Water Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.
