It’s been a busy week of news related to the soon-to-be-released debut James Bond game from Activision, Quantum of Solace.

Following up the releases of the game demo, interviews and reviews, a new video report has been posted at G4 with executive producer Garrett Young.

Showcasing the action-packed Montenegro train level, Young spoke about the gameplay and the company’s primary goals in creating this 007 adaption.

When asked how the game expands on the content from both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, Young said: ‘We were able to see Casino Royale really early on, and so our game is really an action game, so we took those action scenes from Casino Royale and the script of Quantum of Solace.’

He continues: ‘In some cases, like the chase through the town and construction site, it’s like “yeah, we want to do something very similar to that; almost verbatim to what they did there”, in other cases, like the [train to Montenegro level], we actually took the picture and expanded it. We said “well, this is a neat scene from the movie”, but we want to take that and create a more immersive and interactive experience for gamers.’

Young also confirmed that Quantum of Solace will feature 12 different multiplayer modes. Related to this was the recently released news that there will be 16 single-player missions for Bond gamers to navigate their way through.

Additionally, we’ve gotten our first look at screenshots from the Nintendo Wii version of the game. Visit the CommanderBond.net Forums here to check them out.
