WorthPlaying today passes on the news that Activision’s debut James Bond game, Quantum of Solace will feature a range of talent from both of Daniel Craig’s 007 films.

In addition to Craig himself, Dame Judi Dench, Mathieu Amalric and Olga Kurylenko are among the Quantum of Solace cast members lending their voices and likenesses to the new game. Casino Royale‘s Eva Green and Mads Mikkelsen will also reprise their roles for the game.

The announcement follows Electronic Arts’ trend of securing 007 alumni for their Bond games: Pierce Brosnan lent his voice and likeness to 2004’s Everything or Nothing, while in 2005, the company achieved the impossible by luring Sir Sean Connery back to the role of James Bond in From Russia With Love.

Treyarch’s studio head, Mark Lamia, said, “Quantum of Solace represents a new era for James Bond video games, allowing players to step into the role of Daniel Craig’s 007 agent as embodied in Casino Royale and the upcoming Bond film. With the tremendous support we’ve received from the film studio and unprecedented access to the key talent from the movie, we are thrilled to be able to deliver a true, more exciting Bond universe to gamers and fans who have waited years for this game.”

Quantum of Solace will be released on 31 October in the UK and 4 November in the US on the following formats: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS and Windows PC.
