    'Quantum of Solace' UK Release Pulled Forward To 31 October

    The UK theatrical release date for Quantum of Solace has been pulled forward.

    Empire Online reports that according to Sony Pictures, the 22nd James Bond film will now hit theatres on 31 October as opposed to the original 7 November release.

    The other worldwide release dates for Quantum of Solace remain unchanged.

    007 fans will recall a slightly similar situation for 2006’s Casino Royale when it’s release date moved ahead one day.

    Quantum of Solace is the 22nd James Bond 007 film produced by franchise holders Eon Productions. Daniel Craig returns from 2006’s Casino Royale to play James Bond. Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster and scripted by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis. Locations include Panama, Peru, Chile, Italy, Austria and the UK. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production began shooting on 2 January and is scheduled for release on 31 October 2008 in the UK and 7 November worldwide.

    Quantum of Solace co-stars Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Anatole Taubman, Gemma Arterton, Joaquín Cosio, Dame Judi Dench, Jesper Christensen, Giancarlo Giannini, and Jeffrey Wright.
