  1. James Bond To Be Honoured At 18th Dinard British Film Festival

    According to a report from JamesBond-fr.com, the cinematic James Bond will be discussed and honoured at the upcoming 18th Dinard British Film Festival.

    Taking place in Dinard, France in early October 2007, the festival will feature two events centered on 007. The first conference will be presented by Nicolas Cébile and will focus on the evolution of 007 since his introduction to cinema audiences in the early 1960s. This conference will include film extracts and is scheduled to take place at 8:30 PM on Tuesday, 2 October.

    The second conference, James Bond in the 21st Century: A World Icon, will be presented by Kevin Collette and will take place on Thursday, 4 October at 4:30 PM.

    The 18th Dinard British Film Festival officially runs from 4-7 October 2007 and features several film screenings throughout each day including the Dinardais’ Festival. For complete information on the festival, visit the official website.

    In the past, several other stars from the James Bond films have attended previous Dinard British Film Festivals, including Sir Roger Moore, Terence Young and Guy Hamilton (who was the guest of honour at the 13th event).
