Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan and co-star Liam Neeson had to survive some ‘treacherous’ conditions in the brand new film, Seraphim Falls, reports Canada.com.
‘It was pretty brutal, actually,’ said Brosnan at one news conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, where the western epic will debut.
The film sees Neeson as a southern colonel who vows revenge on a former Union Army captain (played by Brosnan) because of a ‘major act of atrocity’ at the end of the Civil War.
‘It was thirsty work, that’s for sure,’ said Brosnan. During the pursuits in the Santa Fe mountains, the altitude ‘took the stuffing out of [him] a bit the first two weeks.’
Seraphim Falls stars Pierce Brosnan, Liam Neeson, Angie Harmon, and Anjelica Huston. It is the directorial debut for David Von Ancken.
