Pierce Brosnan To Star In Aquascutum Ad Campaign

Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has been signed up as the new face of fashion brand Aquascutum.
The one-time 007 is set to front a new global advertising campaign for the company, which has embarked on a £40 million rebrand focusing on the its British roots.
In the ads Brosnan will play one half of a wealthy and sophisticated couple who travel around London. His co-star is the model Julie Stegner.
The campaign, which breaks next month, was designed by View Creative with BLM Red handling the media.
The ads will primarily run in fashion and lifestyle publications in the UK, Italy and the Far East.
Earlier this year Aquascutum appointed Kim Winser, the woman credited with helping overhaul Pringle’s image, as its chief executive.
Following her appointment in April, Winser made clear her intention to sign up a famous face to front the brand’s advertising campaigns.
Aquascutum has been loss-making for a number of years and it has found it difficult to revamp its brand and shed its old-fashioned image.
