  1. Titan Finds 007 in 'Trouble Spot'

    Titan Books has confirmed for CBn that the next book in their series of collected James Bond Daily Express comic strips will be Trouble Spot. The book is scheduled for release in September 2006 and will sell for £12.99.

    This new, never-before-collected edition also includes Isle of Condors, The League of Vampires and Die With My Boots On. Plus a new introduction by Bond girl Martine Beswick (Paula Caplan in Thunderball and gyspy girl Zora in From Russia With Love), and more exclusive material.

    Trouble Spot was first published in the Daily Express from December 1971. In this original story by Jim Lawrence, Bond is called in to investigate a mysterious “box” which has gone missing after the murder of its owner, Mike Channing, he becomes involved with a beautiful, deadly young adventuress and the nefarious Baron Sharck. Can 007 avoid betrayal and death while persuading Channing’s blind wife that he is her husband?

    Titan has also released the final cover art for The Golden Ghost, due for release on April 21. The Ghost collection also includes Fear Face, Double Jeopardy, and Starfire.
