    By Devin Zydel on 2006-02-25

James Bond fans hoping to read the rare 1973 continuation novel, James Bond: The Authorised Biography of 007 by John Pearson are going to have to wait just a little longer. A reprint of the elusive title was previously announced by CBn to be coming in September 2006, but the novel has now been pushed back to a 19 October release date according to Amazon.co.uk. It will be published by Century.

    U.K. First Edition (1973)

    First UK paperback edition

The novel is a “true” biography (of sorts) of agent James Bond, covering the events of his life from his childhood up to the many adventures described in Ian Fleming’s 007 adventures. It was last printed in 1986 (by Grafton in the UK and Grove Press in the US), making it one of the most difficult titles to come by. Bond fans should jump on this opportunity and pre-order soon. The price is £18.99.
