    Jane Seymour, best known to the James Bond Community as Solitaire in 1973s “Live And Let Die”, has received the 2001 Humanitarian Award from the American Red Cross for her starring role on TV’s “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and for her commitment to philanthropic causes.

    The actress has been an international ambassador for Childhelp USA, an organization that seeks to protect children and prevent child abuse. She has served as honorary president of City Hearts, a program which helps disadvantaged children through the arts.
