1. Benson's 'Red Tattoo' Published in Japan

    Author Raymond Benson’s sixth original James Bond adventure The Man With The Red Tattoo has been published in Japan as a “Hayakawa Pocket Mystery” and can be ordered from Red Tattoo sees 007 traveling to Japan to do battle with terrorist Goro Yoshida who threatens to use chemical warfare against world leaders at a G8 summit.

    Other Benson titles that have been translated into Japanese are Zero Minus Ten, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.

    The Man With The Red Tattoo was first published by Hodder & Stoughton in May 2002. It was Benson’s last original James Bond novel. He announced his retirement from the series in early 2003.
