    According to British newspapers, Desmond Llewelyn’s funeral will be a private one on January 6th. In March, there will be a memorial service for Llewelyn. More details will be available as they are released.

    It is my sad duty to report that Desmond Llewelyn (Q) was killed today, December 19, 1999 in a head on car crash as he was returning to his home from a book signing. Llewelyn was 85 years old, he was born on September 12, 1914. He starred in 17 Bond movies. In the latest movie, The World Is Not Enough it appeared as he was retiring from the role but still, he said that he would reprise the role of Q as long as is physically possible.
