  1. The Bond 50 – the 50 defining moments of Bond

    By Helmut Schierer on 2012-08-18

    THE BOND 50

A CBn member survey to find the 50 Best Bond Film Moments

Some years ago, CBn ran a couple of member surveys entitled “The Bond 50”; the first of general “Bond Moments” including the novels, and the second of the Villains.

Time’s moved on, the first Bond 50 was prior to the release of Casino Royale, therefore time to run it again. The “50” thing seems more than a little coincidental.

Various forums updates mean that the threads and results are not that easy to find any more…

    So…

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Eon series, we’re running it again.

To take part, by Friday 21 September 2012, send a Private Message to CBn member “Jim” setting out

    – Your top five Eon Bond film moments
    – With an explanation (as short or as long as you like) why you’ve picked each one

Also – for a bit of a hoot – nominate your “worst” moment in the Eon Bond series.

Along with the announcement of ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ as being the second level of Activision’s ‘007 Legends’ game, the  video games publisher also revealed first screenshots of the mission.

It’s obvious Activision’s people are trying hard to incorporate the spirit of ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ into their concept, and with some success. How the actual game will use this classic Bond film remains to be seen, but this announcement definitely made fans eager to get their hands on the actual article.
