  1. Ben Whishaw ties the knot with partner!

Whishaw is said to be happy and proud to have wed his partner, who he met in 2009, whist filming ‘Bright Star’. Bradshaw, an australian film composer, scored the film. The top secret ceremony itself took place in Sydney, Australia, the home town of Whishaw’s new husband.

    “Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work,” said a source close to the couple. “Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy.

  2. Bond 24 will still root Bond in reality.

    John Logan, the soul director of the next two Bond films, and co writer of Skyfall, has said that Bond 24 will still remain Faithful to Ian Flemings original incarnation. Speaking to the Financial Times, Logan said that “Fleming’s courage in showing Bond’s fear and vulnerability and depression was really interesting and something that a modern audience can accept,” said Logan. “I think Skyfall demonstrated that they want more layers to that character.     After sadly missing out to Cinematography and Sound Design, The James Bond franchise has picked up it’s first Oscar in 46 years. Tied with Zero Dark Thirty, Skyfall has managed to secure it’s first Oscar for Sound Editing. Congratulations to all involved! Remember, there’s still ‘best original song’ and ‘best soundtrack’ to go. Will Skyfall go away with three Oscars in one evening?

  7. Ben Whishaw “Bond 24 will shoot this year.”

    Ben Whishaw, the actor behind ‘Skyfall’s new Quartermaster, has revealed that Bond 24, the followup to ‘Skyfall’ will start shooting this year. Speaking to the Radio Times, Whishaw revealed that he thinks that Daniel Craig and himself will “probably be back together again in about ten months”. Whishaw also revealed that he wants a larger role in 007’s next outing, and that Sam Mendes needs to return to the directors chair. You can read the full article here.

    So production could begin sooner than later? Could this mean that Mendes signed up secretly to Bond 24 and Bond 25 way before ‘Skyfall’ finished production?   8. All 6 Bond actors for Oscar Tribute?

    3bonds1As a special Bond segment has been already been confirmed for this years Oscar Ceremony, Bond fans could very well be in for another brilliant treat. According to Daily Record, all 6 James Bond actors are set to take to the stage to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of James Bond. Speaking to an unknown Oscar source, the news came in that Sir Sean Connery may even make an appearance.

    “Sir Sean has been invited to take to the stage along with Daniel and the other 007s. As yet, we’ve not had a no from him. Normally he is quick to turn things down.

    “Sean’s relationship with the Oscars is good and we’re hoping he’ll appear.

    “His issues with the Bond producers are not our business and we hope he will overlook that as we pay tribute to what he has done.

    “It would be magnificent to see him up there with the other actors – and quite a coup.”

    If true, then this will mark the first public appearance of all six James Bond actors, since Daniel Craig took over the role in 2005.

    It was announced today that SKYFALL, the 23rd James Bond adventure, has surpassed $1 billion at the worldwide box office. SKYFALL is the most successful Bond film of all time, the highest-grossing film of all time in the UK, the first film to pass £100 million at the UK box office and it is also the most successful film at the worldwide box office in Sony Pictures history.

    Skyfall took in $4.6 million this weekend in North America for a cumulative to date of $289.6 million. Overseas, the film grossed $10.3 million for an international total to date of $710.6 million and a worldwide cumulative exceeding $1 billion and growing.

    2012 proves that nobody does it better than James Bond. The 23rd film in the franchise has this hit the billion mark! Congratulations to Michael G Wilson, Barbara Broccoli, Sam Mendes, Daniel Craig and everyone else involved for making ‘Skyfall’ one of the biggest James Bond films of all time.
