00-Games / (2010) GoldenEye

Up until now, James Bond gamers were expecting the next 007 adventure from Activision to be the ‘racing oriented’ title that was first announced in December 2008.

However, IGN reports today that a different game with a rather familiar name may be in the works: GoldenEye 2010.

This news sparks from an online resume listing for animator Craig Peck, previously employed by Eurocom Entertainment:

Eurocom Entertainment Software, Derby, United Kingdom
July 09 – Sept 09 Animator – GoldenEye 2010 (Wii)

Animator on Activision’s James Bond series for the Nintendo Wii

Unfortunately that’s the extent of this rumour. No further details and no confirmation from Activision, Eurocom or any of the other parties that may or may not be involved.

At this point, it’s a good idea to remember that this GoldenEye 2010 news is an unconfirmed rumour—as soon as CommanderBond.net hears more, we’ll let you know.
