‘Quantum of Solace’ Hereford Regional Screening Scheduled

Today we have news on yet another regional screening scheduled for Quantum of Solace in October.

The Hereford Times report that Daniel Craig’s second James Bond film will have a charity gala screening at the Hereford Odeon to benefit St Michael’s Hospice.

The screening is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30 October–one day before Quantum of Solace goes on general release in the UK.

Helen Cotterell, fundraising consultant for St Michael’s, said the film was an ideal event to start the Hospice’s silver anniversary celebrations next year.

Quantum of Solace is the 22nd James Bond 007 film produced by franchise holders Eon Productions. Daniel Craig returns from 2006’s Casino Royale to play James Bond. Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster and scripted by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis (with an additional polish by Joshua Zetumer). Locations include Panama, Peru, Chile, Italy, Austria and the UK. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production began shooting on 2 January and is scheduled for release on 31 October 2008 in the UK and 14 November in the United States.

Quantum of Solace co-stars Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Anatole Taubman, Gemma Arterton, Joaquín Cosio, Dame Judi Dench, Jesper Christensen, Giancarlo Giannini, and Jeffrey Wright.
