  1. Roger Moore's James Bond Walther PPK Sells For $11,500

    A Walther PPK Hero handgun used by Roger Moore during his tenure as James Bond fetched £5,771 (roughly $11,500) at an auction earlier this month according to a report from the Scotsman.

    The 007 handgun was sold at the California-based Profiles In History auction on 2-3 August 2007 as part of their Hollywood memorabilia sale.

    Other notable items at the sale were the suit worn by Sean Connery in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which also sold for £5,771 and the light sabre wielded by Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace fetched £24,527 ($48,000). The highest selling item was the original ‘Johnny-Five’ robot from Short Circuit and Short Circuit 2 for £69,450 ($138,000).
