The Young Bond Dossier reports that the release dates for Charlie Higson’s fourth and fifth Young Bond novels have been confirmed: 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Higson confirmed the dates, according to a report from The Herald. The article points out that although many James Bond fans assumed each year would see the release of a new novel, the dates were never actually confirmed. There was also the possibility that 2008 would be set aside exclusively for the release of the Ian Fleming centenary novel–but we now know this is not the case.
As previously reported, Young Bond Book 4 will see Bond traveling to Mexico and going up against a female villain. The fifth novel will examine the events that lead up to Bond leaving Eton.
