    By Devin Zydel on 2006-09-01

A few weeks ago, a poll was held to decide which James Bond film to screen at the alFresco filmFesto. The winner of the Centre for Arts and Technology People’s Choice James Bond online vote was 1987’s The Living Daylights, starring Timothy Dalton as James Bond 007.

The Living Daylights will be screened at the alFresco filmFestival on Friday, 1 September 2006.

Screenings take place at Tall Ships Quay, Halifax Waterfront, and are projected on the wall of the Electropolis building. Festivities start at 8:00 PM with showtime at 9:00 PM. Admission is a $5 donation to support this community event. alFresco-goers are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket for seating. In case of heavy rain, screenings will be postponed until the next evening. Rain date notices will be posted on www.atlanticfilm.com by 3:00 PM on the day of the postponed screening.

The 26th Atlantic Film Festival takes place 14 – 23 September 2006, in Halifax, NS.
