  1. Sideshow Reveals Wai Lin Figure Prototype

    By Athena Stamos on 2004-07-10

Two weeks ago CBn first reported that Sideshow Collectibles would be adding Wai Lin to their James Bond Collection in February of 2005. Today Sideshow has revealed the prototype and details about the Wai Lin figure.

The 12-inch Wai Lin action figure (sculpted by Andy Bergholtz, who also brought us GoldenEye’s Xenia Onatop) has over 30 points of articulation, and comes equipped with her espionage ready costume, shoes with throwing stars mounted on the soles, throwing stars, MP-5, small explosives, and a Tomorrow Never Dies 12″ figure stand.

The first 500 customers to pre-order directly from Sideshow will receive a bonus accessory available nowhere else — an extra MP-5! (Please note: The Image shown is a Prototype figure. More images will be available soon.)

It has also been confirmed that Sideshow plans to release a 1/4 (18″) figure of Pierce Brosnan in 2005 to accompany the Sean Connery version (August 2004).

CBn will be attending the San Diego Comic Con, July 22-25, where we will bring you exclusive photos of Sideshow’s 2005 James Bond lineup.
