It's tiresome, my fiend. It's as bad as the DVD releases. Surely you are not being serious. I would never forgo a Bond theatrical experience. Are we quite sure that Casino Royale was the first James Bond film released in China?! I believe I recall hearing reports in the late 1980s that The Man with the Golden Gun was getting a Chinese release. ![]() ![]() Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |

Did any of us think we'd live to see the day when a new James Bond film would open in the People's Republic of China before it opened in the United States?
Or, for that matter, that said film would bear the title QUANTUM OF SOLACE, i.e. The Title That Hardcore Bond Fans Always Knew Would Never, Ever Be Used As A Film Title Because It Was Just Too, Like, Strange And Difficult? Truly, my friends, we are living in wonderful times. |

The one thing to look forward to in this horrid city. That and the fact I'll probably find the DVD in Beijing shops before it's released worldwide.
BUT I have just seen the video to the theme- HORRIBLE!!!! The worst ever, and the video is dire. That's not Bond! I came online to see whoever feels as passionately, vehemently distressed by this upcoming debacle starting the next film and just happened to see this early release date. After seeing the video I'm not that excited now... |

Europa Press confirmed yesterday that QOS will premiere in Spain on Nov 6th (with Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko and Marc Forster). It will be shown on Valencia, on the Palacio de les Arts.
So...are they going to sleep on those two days? ![]() << 007 SPAIN >>

I could never understand splitting the openings across such a wide range of dates. The point made above is valid, it just leads to video piracy. Granted, we as fans will want the big-screen experience, but how many of the casual movie going public, with torrents, and the like, will end up with a copy in the states way before the 14 of Nov?

China is no treat to West I think. They just want to be in the game. I think even "Colonel Sun" can be filmed by 2014 in China
