I always love it when actors "do their own stunts". What insurance company would ever let them do that? To quote Sir Roger "I do my own stunts. I also do my own lying."

Actors that do their own stunts are to be commended. It is not only brave, adds to the realism and believability, but it shows a true dedication to the role.

That makes it all worth while to be a bond fan.

I'm sorry to disappoint you my friend, but working in the film biz, I can assure you that "doing their own stunts" is one big marketing and publicity tool and nothing more. No production company (and the insurance companies working for them) will take the risk by having their LEAD actor do dangerous stunts. It sounds all very courageous and brave, yes, unfortunately it's just a very nice story ... an over exaggerated one! ![]() MB

I am sure, this is true to a certain extend, but as we can se DC in so many shots actually doing it - the jumping for example, there is no denying that he is inded doing much more, then we expect from our lead actors normally. |
