All sounds reassuringly ghastly.

Oh God, did they have to liken themselves to the series?

It's a shame I'm a Yank because this sounds interesting.

Likely it'll end up on YouTube ... if it happens.

I certainly cannot imagine Jack White appearing on The X Factor, but who knows...

It wont happen. And if it does, I would say that we would have probably heard it already. The X Factor has just started back up again, it's only been running for a fortnight. We need to get through the auditions and boot camp before we get to the finals, which will be around about mid November probably.

It is hard to imagine the likes of Jack White on the X-Factor but like it's sister show (American Idol) in the States it does enjoy large TV ratings which in turn attracts high profile artists.

I'm sure both White & Alicia Keyes are locked into some sort of heavy promotional schedule which includes all manner of appearances they might not normally do but at the end of the day if it raises the profile of the song and increases airplay it can't be a bad thing.

I'd guess the airdate of this 'special' episode of X-factor will air on either Saturday 25th October to precede the official premiere later that week or on the following Saturday 1st November.

I pity the contestant that gets landed with Die Another Day to perform though.

Paul.

They should get Daniel Craig to sing 'You Know My Name' or 'Nobody Does It Better'. It would be nice to hear James Bond sing... for once.
