Empire's 'Quantum' Issue: 'The Bloodiest Bond Ever'

October 2008 issue is all about Bond

Does any know whether Quantum of Solace will be gracing the covers of Empire and Total Film in the coming months? I seem to remember that Casino Royale had a few covers for Empire and 1 for Total Film, another one included a Teaser Poster. I know I shoudn't become worried, I know that this will probably happen, but does anyone know if there has been an official confirmation yet?

I don't have any official confirmation, but I can guarantee that both will feature Quantum of Solace on their covers around the time the film is released. And probably have quite a lot of content to go with it (most of which will be rehashing stuff about the previous films).

Don't see why it wouldn't make the cover of at least one, if not both. But it's way too early still.

It's not that early, Quantum of Solace is two months away, the September issue is out now, which means that the October issue will be released at the beginning of next month. So basically for both magazines we get next months, this month.

Still time enough though. The Casino Royale Total Film mag wasn't announced until late September/early October at the time.

I would put everything I own on Empire featuring Quantum of Solace next issue (and probably Total Film to do the same).

I'd expect both to feature Bond in their October issues - it seems the publicity campaign is going to start in earnest in October in general (e.g. the publicity partners are starting then). I'll be very surprised if Bond doesn't have both covers - these are UK based film magazines and there's nothing else going on around that time!

There are always Bond covers on the issues of Total Film and Empire in the months preceeding the realese of a film. I'm looking forward to adding the QoS ones to my collection!

I've got a feeling that Empire comes out about the 25th-28th of each month. I suspect that it won't be on next months issue (October) but is more likely to come out on the November issue that will be on sale towards the end of September. Same for Total Film.

I thought that there might be some competition for the covers with the new Harry Potter film, but since that has been bumped to next year, seems Bond maybe getting a few more magazine covers.

I thought Empire's CR coverage was fabulous and this will be hard to resist, though I must. Will snatch the issue from the shelf...and stick it in a drawer till after November 7.

TDK coverage from Empire came out 2 months before the film actually came out! QOS is 99.9% likely to feture on the voer. There tends to be a preview on the Empire website on the Wednesday before release.

With Harry Potter out of the way it is the big gun, so if they'd fail to grace their covers with 007 I would be very surprised. Since both magazines seem to have a great love affair with the 007 series.

Empire's Quantum of Soalce special, I haven't opened it yet but it dropped on my doorstep today, great pose of Craig all bloody holding the browning, most likely from the climax in the desert sequence.

It say Unbeatable Access! whtaever that mean but I won't be able to hold off much longer taking a peek.

Quite Early for Empire, the last 2 issues have been late.
