Amy Winehouse has vowed to take revenge on James Bond bosses - by releasing the track she and Mark Ronson worked on for the latest movie, Quantum Of Solace.

The Rehab hitmaker plans to release the as-yet-unnamed song to coincide with the global release of Alicia Keys and Jack White's track, who are recording the official theme song for the 007 film.

Winehouse admits she wants to "prove that they have made a big mistake".

She tells New Magazine, "I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive).

"I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine - and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit. If they change their minds I'm waiting!"

That's great news!

Besides, if the challenge of "proving taht [the Bond producers] made a big mistake" can give Winehouse some strength and stamina to extract some new worldwide hits from her beehive, that's great news too!

Incurable disease, blindness, Madonna - all these can be overcome. But never the death of common humanity in one of the partners. I've thought about this and I've invented a rather high-sounding title for this song...um...basic factor in human relations. I have called it the Law of the Quantum of Solace.

Amy Winehouse. Not just singing the song but living the dream.

Didn't Ronson admit that they shelved the song because she couldn't complete it? If so, they ought to put away the sour grapes.

It would be very interesting to hear. It will be nothing special though, her illness would have probably effected her voice.

If it's complete I hope they do release it; I'd love to hear it.

If this is indeed her quote, then her stupidity makes redundant any curiousity I might have had.

She certainly sounds very bitter. Would be interesting to see what she comes up with.

Don't know how the music will compare, but I bet the title will be an improvement.

I'm verrrrrrry interested in hearing what Amy can do in fighting mode. Frankly, I hope she does prove that they done us wrong.

Amy Winehouse Rattled by Alicia Keys Bond Theme Rumors

Amy Winehouse is said to be furious that she has lost out on the chance to record the theme tune for new James Bond flick Quantum of Solace.

The troubled 'Rehab' hitmaker recently came to blows with her producer pal Mark Ronson after he said Amy was "not ready to record any music" and that he had been "forced to stop work" with Winehouse on the project, explaining, "We did work on it but we never finished it so that's about it."

And now, according to a source close to the Grammy Award winner, Amy is feeling "hurt" and "angry" after hearing rumors Alicia Keys has stepped in to sing the coveted theme song.

The source says, "I don't think Amy ever considered that she wouldn't be doing the song, even though she walked out.

"Now she's heard Alicia is being lined up to replace her she's feeling hurt and angry. This is the last thing she needs right now."

Quantum of Solace, starring Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Gemma Arterton, is due to hit theaters at the end of the year.

Well tbf, she really shouldn't complain. If she stayed clean, she woulda got it.

Wonder if she actually will release it alongside the official duet. Should definitely be interesting to hear it.
