I can only hope they'll print a cheapo edition, as they'll be doing with the other books. Perhaps my attempts at telepathy have worked after all! Publishing a collection of Fleming's uncollected work is a much better way to honor his centenary than by hiring some other novelist to hump his character. The honorable thing is celebrate Fleming and Bond, not just the latter. Formerly known as blackjack60 and still as quarrelsome.

I know there's a trailer out for the new film and everything, but wake up, everyone! I mean, what? Unpublished Fleming material? In a new book? For ten squillion quid? Would 'Crikey!' be out of order?

Not heard the title before either, but perhaps missed it in Chancellor or somewhere. Not especially enamoured of it, but clever of them to use it because it'll appeal to all the people who just bought Faulks' book and are curious about Fleming and, well, are very very loaded indeed.  Perhaps not such a massive market. I'd love to have a collection even of Fleming's complete published journalism. And I think that would contain a a lot of material that inspired or gives insight into Bond.
