It makes our premiere date of November 27th seem early in comparison!

Why does this always happen with Bond films in Japan? So that the stars can enjoy Christmas and New Year before heading out to Tokyo for the premiere. Is that really the reason? Actually I just checked and CR was released there on Dec.1. It was DAD I was thinking of, which didn't get released over there until April. |

Casino Royale had a really tight release schedule, in my opinion. With the exception of three releases in January, it was out everywhere else in November or December.

Why does this always happen with Bond films in Japan? So that the stars can enjoy Christmas and New Year before heading out to Tokyo for the premiere. I don't think that's the reason. Most major movies are released a few month after the US premiere in Japan and not just movies around Christmas but also in the summer. |

I still don't understand why a film cannot open at the same time in all countries.
