From what I've read somewhere today (sorry, can't find it right now) it was also the most reviewed book of the last weekend. But that's hardly surprising considering the hype.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between Hatchards Ltd edition (500 copies) sold for 100 pounds and the Waterstone Ltd Edition (1000 copies) also sold for 100 pounds As far as I know, these are the special versions of Devil May Care currently available:

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between Hatchards Ltd edition (500 copies) sold for 100 pounds and the Waterstone Ltd Edition (1000 copies) also sold for 100 pounds Same book. We've been calling it the "red case" limited edition. 500 copies. Hatchards got some. Waterstones got some. Re the signed UK first (1500 copies). Don't let anyone tell you the book sold for 100. It's didn't. It sold for cover price. There was no limit on how many you could buy, so many book dealers snapped them up to sell at hugely inflated prices on eBay. ![]() |

![]() AWARD FOR NERDIEST FAN FICTION: In Jacques Stewart's magnum opus Just Another Kill, Bond contemplates eating his victim: "Meat. All the man was. All the man would be. Lowering his right eye (?) to the greased rim of the sniper's glass, James Bond rationalised, so far as he needed to, that meat was all that the man, still standing on the shoreline, had ever been." And it goes ON! Thanks Jacques Stewart, you meathead!
