Looking on the bright side, LA has survived far worse, including: earthquakes, mudslides and appearances by Simon Cowell.

While DAF is one of my least favorite Bond films, I'd still like to see it on the big screen someday. (But it will have to be much closer to home than this...)

Count me in! Despite its dubious merits as home video fare, DAF rocks on the big screen with an audience and it's an experience I'd love to have again.

It was a fun screening. There were quite a few people there and the print was in good shape. It was not a new print from the Lowry restoration, but it wasn't faded, scratched or missing anything. The sound in the theater was a little bit on the blaring side.
And the movie just plays so well on the big screen. There was a lot of laughter and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. I brought a friend with me who had never seen it, and he enjoyed it, Neil ![]() "Tell me, does the toppling of American missiles really compensate for having no hands?"
