Will indeed post a report after it. I know it says Goldfinger on the release but I'm really hoping for some OHMSS music too. Just getting greedy now I guess...

really good interview! This should be on the front page!
the concert sounded great too! Some beautiful arrangements of some of the Bond music, and a smoking end to the Bond theme I must say. I wasn't fond of what they did to OHMSS though. It sounded like a theme from a Western. you can check it out by clicking on the latest program link on the right. There's a 2 hour interview with John Barry as well if you click on movies and musicals.... Sorry for the late review guys..
The concert was amazing and a real treat for a Barry fan. The show opened up with Barry himself conducting the orchestra with Goldfinger and We Have all The Time In The World. I'm not sure what age he is exactly but he was certainly giving it his all and looked in great shape. Bond was well represented at the concert (always loved the instrumental All Time High) as was some of Barry's other works (the Dances With Wolves suite was amazing!) For me though, the sweetest part of the night was the near 10 minute Bond suite at the end of the night, note perfect powerful stuff. The ovation for Mr. Barry at the end was incredible and lasted for at least 5 minutes. An absolute legend and an amazing night!
