What a lovely man; a book will do him some good in his retirement. smile.gif

Maybe--.

Based on a lot of such things that I've read (but not wanting to point fingers), I'd say these sorts of books are most satisfying if approached w/ the expectation that you'll get to know the human side of the actual people behind making the Bond legend on screen. In terms of authenticating anything or settling factual questions, that, unfortunately, is few and far between.

But maybe this one will be different.

As long as there's some lovely big prints of his concept drawings, I'm there.

Agreed! This man should be working ... god knows why he is not. If TD had him on LTK that film would have become the best Bond film ever. Cubby's biggest mistake was to let him go to a production designer who has no talent or taste! I am very happy QOS has a new production designer. Yeeeee Haaaaaaw

Whoah hold on ! Peter Lamont has done the best he could but you should really blame the blandless from the films. Anyway, I am so picking up Adams' book.

I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

The previous book between these two, Ken Adam: The Art of Production Design, is well worth checking out, in my opinion.

Agreed. I met him a couple or so years back. And he was extremely sincere and ensured I have a signed SPECTRE room design in my lounge...

He isn't working now as he is cracking on a bit in years.
