I was suddenly hit that we were doing a very retro, future kind of Bond film. I guess we’re just trying to make it visually stimulating.
Well, I guess that covers all bases. For the Ken Adam Golden Age of Bond fans, it's "retro", while for the delectation of those who like, erm, gadgets and stuff, it also happens to be "future". QUANTUM OF SOLACE - the Bond film that contains every possible aspect of Bond. DIE ANOTHER DAY II. |

I took it to mean something quite different. Let's say that Ken Adam’s designs were futuristic but were a 60/70 notion of the future. Now QoS is inspired by that retro idea of what was considered futuristic. |
