If Quantum of Solace begins as quoted "two hours after Casino Royale ended", then she's bound to be.
What a silly remark. ![]() |

If Quantum of Solace begins as quoted "two hours after Casino Royale ended", then she's bound to be. What a silly remark. That's exactly what I was thinking. Bond would have to be too cold even for his own standards for Vesper to not to have any effect on him just two hours following the end of CASINO ROYALE. |

And isn't this a part revenge movie too?. Maybe she doesn't get much affection from our boy. ![]() |

Maybe she doesn't get much affection from our boy. I think that it would be a refreshing change for Bond to not give much affection to any of the Bond girls, but I doubt that we'll ever see a Bond film that features such a dynamic between Bond and the lead actresses. |

What an obvious comment. QoS is a direct follow up to CR, of course Bond's heart is going to be still bleeding. Indeed, I hope we see a colder Bond because of this.

I just hope that the next Bond movie there will be no more emotional baggage over old flames. Only one Bond girl should belong to his heart, and that is M.

If they're attempting to follow the spirit of the books at all in this rebooted franchise (and they'd be better off doing so, IMO), then by all means Bond should be "carrying Vesper in his heart" for a long, long time. Not to the degree that he can't find a short term girlfriend in each adventure like he always has, but enough to where he's still visiting her small grave each year. At least, I love that Fleming's Bond did that all the way up to OHMSS.

If Quantum of Solace begins as quoted "two hours after Casino Royale ended", then she's bound to be. What a silly remark. Indeed. However, we don't know how much time after Vesper's death the last scene of CR took place. It might have been weeks or months after. ![]() |

I don't think Bond would have wasted any time tracking down Mr. White. |
