Anyone planning to attend this? I'm tempted, being that here in Ann Arbor, I'm only 4 hours away by car, and there's a very pleasant direct train ride from the station here to Chicago.

It certainly is tempting... although the Sun-Wed schedule is far from ideal for me...

But today is the thirteenth...

If either of you do make it, do let us know how the screenings were.

I kind of expected to see this run over a weekend.

That would have made it SO much easier for me to possibly attend...

Anyone familiar with this theater?...

If I can round up a few friends, I'd like to check out Goldfinger and Thunderball. I just hope the prints are good...

Excellent News! I WILL be attending this!

The Music Box Theatre is a nice little restored theatre from the 20's or 30's. They have 2 screens, 1 in a large auditorim complete with organ which makes the silent movies real fun to attend. The second screen is quite small, and I mean quite. Whenever they have big events or screenings, like this one, it will be in the large screening room.

I have never heard of the Music Box ever extending a run of a film, but that doesn't mean it won't happen, but they might throw it onto the little screen.

If anyone else if going, we should have some kind of meetup....

Dumb that they can't re-release the Bonds worldwide so eveyone gets a chance to re-visit these classics , prolly too costly to make it happen nowadays frown.gif

I would have gone but was away on business. I saw all the films on the big screen in Chicago when the 3 Penny had a 2 week marathon back in '94 or '95. Saw Goldfinger at Navy Pier in '97. Let us know which version of Thunderball they show.
