Fantastic! The cinema really is the best way to experience a Bond film. The only Bond's I've seen at the cinema so far are Goldfinger, Thunderball, TWINE, Die Another Day and Casino Royale so it'll be nice to fit a few more in there. Can't wait!

I definitely wouldn't mind attending this event. Wonder which five will be chosen?
My guess is that Goldfinger will be in there. ![]() |

I just voted for OHMSS, using all of my verbal skills to hone a finely-wrought reason as to why it's the best; I hope I win.

I hope you win too Mr Blofeld as I also voted for OHMSS! How long was your explanation as to why the film should be screened? Mine was a short paragraph, around 5 lines.
Moonraker would also be cool to see on the big screen what with the wonderful, big, beautiful sets and Rio De Janeiro! |

Would love to win the free tickets, but it's getting there that would really be the issue...

Just voted for OHMSS. I know it says you can win tickets, however, not sure when tickets go on sale.

My top five are OHMSS, Moonraker. Dr No, FRWL and Thunderball. I'd love to see the underwater scenes of Thunderball in the cinema.
I would never opt to see the post Moore films in the cinema as I have already seen them on the big screen, from TLD onwards. Was that wonderful photo they have from the Octopuusy film on the Barbican website shown in the actual finished film? I don't recall seeing it in that sequence where Bond arrives in New Delhi in the helicopter. These are the sorts of shots I love. A glimpse of the locals with a beautiful back drop. That's a great photo of the children jumping in the sea! This post has been edited by Jack Spang: 13 March 2008 - 10:14 |

Interesting choice of photos there, many of which are rather poor quality and/or rather predictable (but not that shot for Octopussy...) Of course, that CR shot isn't in the film either... ![]() |

I like most of the photos they have used except the ones for the Brosnan era. Excluding GE they are merely action shots. Still, the Brosnan era is all pretty much endless action so that's why they probably used those shots.

Edit: get back Saturday morning apparently... so there's hope. Although with my luck they'll show OHMSS on the Friday and blooming Goldeneye or TND or equivalent on the Saturday.... ![]() ![]() |
