'Source de reconfort' and '007 Quantum'

Some time ago, we discussed the possible foreign translations of QoS. It appears that Sony Picture Italia announced "007 Quantum" (full stop! smile.gif) as the Italian title (provisional yet, and possibly subject to changes).
Source: http://www.sonypictures.it/cinema/sneakPreview.php .

The French Canadian title for Qos seems to be a little bit more translated": which is said to have been announced by Sony Pictures Canada : "Source de réconfort"
However, the Sony Pictures Canada French site for QoS doesn't give any indication, and still has the Qos title on the poster.
The title logo given could thus be unofficial:

One must admit that, even if "source" is not a proper translation for "quantum", it has a very well-placed O wink.gif
Nota: this doens't mean the French title will be "Source de réconfort". French Canadians tend to translate titles into French more often than "French" French people. smile.gif

Any other foreign translations announced?

Source de Reconfort? Gee, that sounds like Pepto-bismol or something like that. stare.gif

Gawd, does Clive Owen not look like the ultimate 007 in that pic(italian link) or what? eek.gif

Sorta reminds me of how all the older Bond movies somehow had '007' worked into their title when translated to a non-English speaking market, almost inevitably.

This is the part I wouldn't show you. The part where you say "I don't even know you". This is your cue. Be glad that it's through...

In Italian, Bond seems to be referred to more often as "007" than as "Bond", IMO. Just my 2 cents smile.gif

I'd like "Cuota de Consuelo" (remember, we need the two 'o's)
or "Fracción de Consuelo"

I like when the Japanese rename a film something dramatic like "The Beautiful Flower has Spilled Red Blood."

"That's a splendid name for it. It's certainly impressive enough.
Quantum of Solace -- the amount of comfort."
