Why is the 007 star quotient for this event so lean? Let me say this delicately: other than Paluzzi and Beswick, this line-up SUCKS. Lucy Fleming....why? Because she's Ian's niece?

And the others....I haven't even heard of them. I mean, it seems to me we're really searching for people to show up when we're asking the guy who had a two-minute role in Die Another Day to attend our autograph session.

I know we're not going to get current stars in the prime of their career attending the session, but surely some of the actors and actresses from the series in the 80's must now be ready to start doing the autograph circuit. Kabir Bedi? Tanya Roberts? I mean, I think we need some bigger actors with more substantial contributions to come to these events besides Paul Darrow (no offense).

Lucy Fleming is also an actress in her own right - since the mid 60s.

There are some members of other sites (maybe this one too) that adore these bit parters, probably because they can get closer.

I don't know about Kabir Bedi, but Tanya attended the Memorabelia show at the NEC in 2002, happy memories - a number of other bigger names also attended that one, wink.gif going on to the DAD premiere later. And you have to remember bigger actors cost more - someone has to pay for their travel and hotels etc., and/or get them at the right time.
