I suppose the US is getting that cover while the UK gets the original cover art. You Brits always get the good cover art!
Actually, I like it. The image of Bond peeking around the "corner" of the cover is clever, and I'm very thankful they've abandoned that God-awful sci-fi looking font that adorned the US hardbacks of the Benson novels. Good retro look, if a bit simple. ![]() |

That's a rather good idea. Surprisingly good for a US cover.
Not sure which I prefer- I'd probably enjoy looking at the UK one more, but the concept of the US one is very strong. |

I like it. Simple and very kind of 50's noir.

Ho, baby, I love that cover! I like this better than the UK cover (that's a first). VERY very nice.

Not bad-
But I would have liked for it to match the recent Fleming US paperbacks, ![]() |

I think it does match the US paperbacks. That was the first thing that hit me about it. Very pulpy.
Man, I love this cover. ![]() |

What's very interesting about this is I was under the impression that IFP didn't want Bond to feature in cover art anymore.
What's also interesting is, conceptually, this art is similar to the US Licence Renewed in that Bond wraps around the jacket so only half his head, shoulder, and gun is visible. But this one is much more dynamic. ![]() |

Very vivid.
Without the Bond figure it might not be much, but that does add a something to it. ![]() ![]() "There was a violent cruelty, a pathological desire to wound, quite near the surface in the man." CBn: ...we have people everywhere Only James Bond is James Bond. |

This art surpasses the Hurricane Gold paperback as my favorite cover of the year. It's up to YB5 to beat it.

That's very nicely done. For once!
Very retro, unclutterd, stylish, eye-catching. Looking forward to getting hold of this one... ![]() ![]() |
