Bond to fly a jet as well? I hope it beats the TND scene.

Sounds very interesting indeed. Maybe Bond being chased in the plane will lead into the scene where he parachutes/free-falls down to the ground.

There are some pics of the jet over on MI6.
I think this is probably a sequence lifted from Michael France's GoldenEye screenplay, with the jet replacing some attack helicopters. In that script Bond and Marina (Natalya) are in a plane being fired on by the helicopters, and they bail out of the plane just before it's blown up. Bond shoots one of the helicopters down in mid-air, and they free fall into a cavern. |

There are some pics of the jet over on MI6. It’s interesting that it is described as a jet, when the photos show that it has a propeller. Also MI6 call it a “little Turbojet”, when it’s clearly a turboprop Now, this other article says the plain is a jet and a Marchetti, but a Marchetti is not a jet, its a propeller plain.( a turboprop in fact) Umm… it’s as confusing as who is making the suits. |

It sounds a bit daft to me, like something from the Brosnan films. But then it's all in the execution I guess...

I know I'll sound like a spoilsport to make this observation, but fans of the novels will know that Fleming's Bond wasn't a pilot. Still, having Bond able to fly an aircraft expands the types of action they can do in the films, so I'm in favor!
