Just got back from the show and must say the Bond stars were the best ones yet. David Hedison and Shirly Eaton are fantastic, mainly because they give their time to actually talk to you and get to know you. From past experience with other celebrities they don't seem interested to be there. I also saw Gareth Owen who worked on the two "Bond on Set" books. It was him who infact took the picture of me and Zena Marshall.

I actually thought her name was Miss Torso, but then at the same time I thought it didn't sound right biggrin.gif I mean, I know the Bond girls have a bit of an history with their names, but I did think Miss Torso was a bit obviouse.

Actually I've only just realised that it was Greg Williams that had written the 'Bond on Set' books, not Gareth Owens. He just looked so familiar. I'm sure I might have seen pictures of him in Bond magazines.

I think David Hedison is the best celebrity. He shook my hand and seemed to give his time to me. For a celebrity with that status to do that. It's priceless. (well actually, it cost me £15 for an autograph biggrin.gif)

Although Gareth Owen may not have written the "On Set" books, he is an author in his own right, having written (amongst others) The Pinewood Story ; (with Bert Luxford) Albert J Luxford: The Gimmick Man ; and Roger Moore: His Films and Career - all god reads and highly recommended.

Agreed--all three of those books are definitely worth checking out for Bond fans.
