Now on the CBn main page...
Telemetro Panamá has a new video discussing filming in Colon. Unfortunately I can't really understand what's going on as it's in Spanish. Perhaps someone would be able to translate the gist of it? You access the video by clicking the above link and then going to "Farandula" - there should then be videos in the right hand column. Also, at PageSix.com there is a small photo of Daniel Craig and his stunt double preparing for a fight scene. Not that exciting, but we haven't had any news for a while so thought I'd post anyway! |

I'm watching it right now, in a couple of minutes, I'll translate the most interesting tidbits.
Okay, here you go: - Colon will be Haití and Panama will be Bolivia (I think we knew that already) - It seems that in the buildings shown before the Casino Royale footage they will shot a chase that could have some little explosions. - Bond will visit the 'Policia Nacional' (National Police) HQ in Haiti after a chase (it could be the same chase from before) - Bond will have also a boat chase on the beaches of Haiti (still on Colon) Errr...I wonder if we're going to see Bond being non-stop chased lol This post has been edited by _Ozu_: 21 February 2008 - 14:56 ![]() << 007 SPAIN >>

There are two new videos, is this the one called “Colón en escenas de James Bonds” ? If you put “Bond” into the search you get another one called “Filman escena importante de James Bonds” with the same reporter. You couldn’t tell us what that one says could you? Thanks in advance. Yeah, I was talking about 'Colón en escenas de James Bond'.
I saw also 'Filman escena importante de James Bond' and 'Capta toda la acción de las grabaciones de James Bond' and they're from the first days of shooting. None of them tell anything new and they spent most of the time talking about the high security surrounding the shooting and the actors. 'Filman escena importante de James Bond' is basically them trying to have footage of Daniel Craig for their TV program and talking about the shooting hours. Half way through the video they show some spy-shots of Craig in 'el Casco Viejo' (the Old Quarter), and I think those may be connected to the photo from PageSix where Daniel is with is stunt double, maybe it's just me, but I can see some blood on Daniel's shirt on that part of the video...and that would confirm my thoughts about a fight involving Daniel's double. Then, when Daniel shows up with his tuxedo, he checks the monitors to see if he did right the scene (according to the off voice) and went home at 4.30 am while they kept shooting scenes with extras until 6.00 am. 'Capta toda la acción de las grabaciones de James Bond' is from the second day of filming on Panama, the photos where we see Fields with a skirt and high boots belong to this day (and we can see her like that on this video). They talk a little bit about Fields, telling that she works for the English Secret Service in Bolivia and makes echo of the rumours about her having a romance with Bond. That's all. If you find any other video in Spanish, I have no problem on translating it. P.S. Sorry if I made any mistake, my brains are overheating as I'm translating from Spanish to English, from English to Spanish, and studying C++. Thanks very much for those translations _Ozu_! Great stuff
Good to have confirmation that the Colon region of Panama will be doubling for Haiti then. It certainly makes sense. Therefore it appears as though the boat chase scene will be taking place fairly early on in the movie as the action shifts to Haiti as Bond follows the trail left by this MI6 traitor. |

@Ozu: Thanks a lot for the translation! The building they are showing in the Colon video, will it feature in the movie? All I could understand was the moderator talking about a principal location, but not sure whether it related to this building (hell, I shouldn't have wasted five years on learning Latin)

It seems like Bond will walk upstairs like he was (as he told us), and the chase will have some parts involving it.
I'll translate exactly what he says: 'We continue our visit to Colón. This stairs will be walked by Daniel Craig. This will be one of the main offices in Haití. The police HQ, which is in front of it, will be used to start a chase to this building.' I don't really know what does he mean with 'offices', maybe he could be using the word as a real office with people working inside or as something else. The other two old buildings they show will also feature in the film, as they've rented some apartments there to shoot for two weeks. If you have any other question I could answer about the videos, I'd be delighted to do so ![]() << 007 SPAIN >>

Cheers Qwerty
I'm really excited by the idea of this boat chase along the coastline and beaches of Panama (or Haiti as it will be). It will make a nice change from the last really impressive waterborne stunt - the Thames chase in THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH. |

It finally dawned on me the kind of South American, Latino beat and heat this movie is going to have in this sequences. It will most certainly rock.

I click the link in the story and all I see it a clip about a policeman poet (Policía poeta). Only QOS video I find on the page is the same one from the official site. Did they remove it?
EDIT: Found 'em via the French site (3 clips): http://www.jamesbond-fr.com/news-120369606...-au-Panama.html BTW, check out that pic they have of Craig. Is that one we've see before? ![]() |
