I guess now we know for sure. The Omega Planet Ocean makes another appearance. cool.gif thumbup.gif
Don´t know if this actually is considered a spoiler, but for some watch loving people it might be, so...

"Sir James Maloney sat back. He looked out of the window and puffed thoughtfully at his cigar. He liked this man Bond. He had had him as his patient perhaps a dozen times before. He had seen how the spirit, the reserves in the man, could pull him out of badly damaged conditions that would have borken the normal human being."

Not a spoiler. Moving to regular forum. General rule: If you can expect big ads containing words like ‘Bonds wears/uses/brushes with...’, it’s not a spoiler.

And if it were a spoiler, why would you put the ‘spoiler’ in the topic title where (most) everyone can read it?

Somewhere early morning in a hotel room there’s a guy starting
to realise that eternal fate has turned its back on him.

It’s 2 a.m.

Makes sense. Sorry. And the spoiler I was considering wasn´t that omega would be in the film, that´s almost a given. It was that it would be a planet ocean. Sorry anyways

Not a watch officianado, like many on here, but doesn't the bracelet on the watch in the second photos look more like a Seamaster bracelet?

It does from afar. But I think it is definitely a PO, probably a 45 of diameter like the one he wore in CR but in a steel bracelet instead of the rubber strap

Apologies, your additional picture clearly shows the Planet Ocean.

I knew its PO, some guys on other forums insisted that its only his private watch when pictures from filming in London appeared in Internet

Yeah, they said it would be a whole new watch, a sort of Seamaster 2220.80.00, just in black. Glad to see Daniel has the same watch as his alter ego

Pant pockets won't last long shoving a giant watch like that into them repeatedly!

Still nothing on Quantum of Solace on the Omega site yet but it's probably a bit to early to start on the marketing end just yet. I'm curious to see what the 007 Edition will look like this time around.

I don't know jack about watches, but I gotta tell you if I hadn't already committed my tax return to home recording equipment, I'd really seriously consider some type of Omega. Those things are beautiful.

This is the part I wouldn't show you. The part where you say "I don't even know you". This is your cue. Be glad that it's through...

If memory serves, it was well into May when Casino Royale was being filmed before Omega SA started releasing its "official word" on the then-new James Bond wristwatch.

But if it helps w/ current interest, here are some links to current Omega production models.
