Now on the CBn main page...
The official website is updated with a video of the pressconference and photos of the event. The video has some up tempo music on it. I think that this none of the official soundtrack but it sounds ok. In the middle of the video there is a twist in the music. Some Casino Royale and The World Is Not Enough soundtrack. It sounds great. A good video with information, the first official filmpictures and moving frames. what do you girls and guys think? http://www.007.com This post has been edited by Qwerty: 7 February 2008 - 23:56 ![]() Voor Nederlandse Bondfans; James Bond Nederland

I'm pleased, encouraged...and baffled. As for the first two, I've sworn off plot spoilers, video spoilers, etc, and am glad they seem to be keeping the entire production more under wraps.
But the web site was far more difficult to resist last year. This year's--so far--is homely, to put the matter mildly. There's not much there worthwhile to read or even look at. Where are those wonderful reports from X that were so enojoyable last year? So, thanks for not spoiling the moving, Sony--and no thanks for the second-rate site. ![]() ![]() |

I kind of agree. The flash site last year based on the teaser poster design was so bloody atmospheric - topped off perfectly with the subtle track from 'Thunderball' - that it sort of set the stage for the film itself in a powerful way. This one's a bit of a letdown so far - but it's quite likely this may just be an initial site.
Damn, now I'm remembering how cool the last site was. ![]() -------------------------------------------------------

Well, the site last time might have been cool to look at but it didn’t exist until May and then spent most of its time being desperately out of date! I imagine that what we have now for QoS will evolve into a slicker and more atmospheric site in the vain of the CR one over the next few months, (perhaps sooner Right now, it's good to have the content… it's good to have something, which is more than we had at this stage with CR. Exactly.. I agree with you Shrublands.. At this point I too am happy that we at least have ANY website with interesting tidbits about the film.. I really don't mind that it isn't as interactive as the Casino Royale site.. At any rate, I'm certainly NOT going to boycott Quantum of Solace just because Sony didn't put as much effort into its website!

Does it get updated regularly with official news? The most recent I can see on the page is from the 15th of January.

That's certainly what I was getting at, Shrublands. I'd love to see an evolution happen toward something like before.

I like the look of the website a lot. It looks very modern and cool.

Interesting how they're promoting the 007.com url now more than they ever did. It's usually always been 'jamesbond.com,' with that being the official MGM site, and 007.com mostly being the EON site. That was several years ago though, but I just think it's intresting that even with Casino Royale, they chose to use and promote 'jamesbond.com' instead of '007.com' Granted, they've both redirected to the same website for several years, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
just saying lol |

The poster is a bit baffling. Since we have the name of the movie, why not include it somewhere on the poster? They could always include the 007 logo so people know it's a Bond movie. Simple is always good for a teaser but there are some better fan made posters out there.
