> First Look at New Corgi Figures

Collection includes 'Quantum of Solace' figures due September 2008

The toy site Actionfigure.com has up some photos of Corgi's new line of James Bond figures, as seen at the UK Toy Fair. I have to say they look very nice. So far just Daniel Craig, Mads and Eva, but there are "placeholders" for Moore, Connery, Scaramanga, Oddjob and Jaws.

Oh, and cars. Corgi does cars, too, right? tongue.gif

Anyway, here's the gallery:

Pictures of Corgi's new Bond figures (prototype stage, I'm sure). The Golden Compass figures were great. We'll see about these...

I've just realised that Camille and Maurice (Dominic) Green are included as being listed as figures! http://74.52.193.82/events/main.php?g2_itemId=89689

Does that say 'Elvis' at the bottom?

And is that an image of Bond with the briefcase? When does he wear that outfit?

Ooh: and a Bond boat!
Which pretty confirms a boat chase (not that we weren't pretty certain already). Shame it doesn't say what gadgets are on the DBS:

Shame they seem to have stuck an old Die Another Day remote control Vanquish on display- why have they done that?

It does say Elvis. and I think thats Mr. White with the briefcase and not Bond.

After so long waiting for a Sideshow Craig figure, these have pulled the rug from under my feet.

I'm much more into this kind of action figure - I find their poses and appearances far more striking.

These look so cool - I want every single one! biggrin.gif

Well, maybe it's just me, but I don't like the artistic quality of these very much.

WHY "DADDY BOND"? BECAUSE GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH LOTS OF KIDS. . .006 OF THEM!

I enjoy Bond, but Bond's not my life. . .God is!

Well, they're only prototypes, but they're already a mile ahead of Sideshow with the likenesses- I'm not really sure how they could be better made to be honest..?

Why no mention of Elvis or the possible boat toy? Surely they're of interest as we don't know much about them?

Wow! Brilliant! These look amazing!

Looks like I'll have to make some room in my display case for some new Corgi figures!

But today is the thirteenth...

Good point on the boat; I somehow overlooked that. I've mentioned "Elvis" briefly, but to me it reeks of a mistake of some sort (a misspelled character name or an outright error).

I just hope these get released in the USA, but I'm afraid they'll be imports, available only at speciality shops, and cost 15 bucks for seven dollar figures.

You Brits get all the great Bond merchandise.

Check out my Bond posters at my website RNK Fan Art and check out my posts at Universal Exports where I go by the name Agent-007.
